In the darkness of the night, a hero came to the rescue of a cat suffering from seizures after ingesting rat poison.

We just went through a sleepless night with Lika, the cat I found last night. At the moment I saw her, Lika was lying on the ground, trembling and unconscious.

The cat kept having seizures and foaming at the mouth. Immediately, I wrapped her in a blanket and rushed to the nearest veterinary clinic. Throughout the journey, I couldn’t stop worrying about this newfound friend. Upon arriving at the clinic, she was immediately taken into the emergency room.

The doctor quickly determined that Lika had ingested food containing rat poison and was in severe poisoning. The cat had sneaked into someone’s house and eaten the toxic food before we found her. The poison was damaging her stomach and nervous system.

Without delay, the cat received detoxification treatment and intravenous fluids. Myself and the rescue team stayed by her side all night, continuously praying for the little cat.

We almost lost her to the hands of death. But a miracle happened, and the cat miraculously survived. Under the effect of the medication, Lika gradually stopped seizing and regained consciousness. She was able to stand up and move around gently, and even ate a little food on her own.

I couldn’t believe it, it felt like a burden lifted from my heart. The doctor happily announced that her heart and blood pressure had returned to normal. We held the cat tightly in our arms and showered her with blessings.

Together, we went through a horrifying ordeal and thanked our lucky stars for bringing Lika back to life. Lika will be discharged and return to live with the rescue team. We promise to do everything possible to protect and care for Lika.
